What I'd like to see is a mod in which you can hire guards and populate areas like Vault 3 with residents. They also kindly provide plenty of equipment on their dead bodies to build an impressive armoury within Vault 3. The place is very easily defended and Fiends constantly respawn so that makes for a pleasant afternoons sport of hunting. To me, the best and most secure area is Vault 3. I mine the approaches and doorways to keep out unwanted visitors. To pass the time, I set up safe houses etc where I stash equipment and supplies. Zero damage to me, those who didn't die were thrown all over the camp and could be delt with 1 or 2 at a time.
